Lawyer Zhang Wencan, Director of the National Management Committee of DHHT Law Offices and head of Taizhou Office, has been engaged in the field of finance and bankruptcy for 28 years, serving a number of government agencies, financial institutions and well-known enterprises and institutions, representing a number of influential civil and commercial cases.

Practicing for 28 years, deeply cultivating the legal industry, having experienced ups and downs, how to stick to the original heart and do a good job of the“leader”of the construction of the rule of law? With this question, we interviewed lawyer Zhang Wencan, director of the Taizhou office of DHHT.

De Xiaohe: First of all, we would like to know what prompted you to choose DHHT and decide to set up an office in Taizhou.

Lawyer Zhang Wencan: I have been working as a lawyer in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province since I graduated from university in 1995. The law firm I worked for was founded in 2000, and I was one of the three founding partners. However, the law firm I yearn for in my heart should be young and professional, and DHHT is exactly in line with my wishes in these two aspects. It is the core region of China's economic engine, coupled with the honorary title of national excellent law firm, the professional legal knowledge of the founder of Dehe and the level of operation of the law Offices, and the attraction of Dehe family culture, I chose DHHT and set up the Taizhou office.

De Xiaohe: The decoration style of the Taizhou office is both elegant and modern, and it seems that the investment is quite high. What are your original intentions and considerations when designing?

Zhang Wencan: When designing office decoration, the idea of our Taizhou office is: We do not want to be a traditional and old-fashioned office, and we think that the visitors of the law firm should not only be legal consultants or our clients, because in addition to providing legal services, the current law firm often has better decoration and environment, so we want to build the Taizhou office into a modern and artistic building. In addition, the large area of green landscape on the east and west sides of the law firm will make our colleagues and clients feel happy and have a sense of belonging and happiness for the law firm. The diversification of the law firm's hardware and space will also diversify the visitors and visitors of the law firm, further improve the breadth and depth of the law firm's legal services, and make the law offices more than a law office

De Xiaohe: Can you share your expectations and plans for the future development of Taizhou office?

Lawyer Zhang Wencan: Our expectation and plan is that our scale and services are not large and comprehensive, and we hope to become bigger and stronger in the fields of criminal defense, financial bankruptcy reorganization, non-performing assets, labor and personnel.

De Xiaohe: As an experienced lawyer, you must have handled many complex cases in your career. Can you share a case that impressed you the most? What profound impact has this case had on you?

Lawyer Zhang Wencan: To talk about the impressive case, in fact, from the legal aspect, it may be a relatively small case. Around 1997, when Yangtai prefecture-level city was set up, Taizhou Intermediate Court was established. I accepted the second-instance case of an old couple in Taixing who appealed a neighborhood dispute. The old couple brought home-grown corn and sweet potatoes to the law office to thank me, and that moment is still fresh in my memory. At that time, I was still very young, but the old man's sincerity and enthusiasm was still deeply touched, so many years later, when I saw that“lawyers do not actually cases, but other people's lives”, I was also very emotional, in fact, other people's lives have also crossed our lawyers' own lives.

De Xiaohe: You have served many large state-owned enterprises. What do you think are the key elements of serving large enterprises?

Lawyer Zhang Wencan: I think the key elements of serving large enterprises can be summarized by DHHT's concept of“Diligence, ingenuity, and perfection”. Diligence is the basic requirement and standard of lawyers' practice, ingenuity is the dexterity and skill of legal services, and perfection is the quality index and highest requirement of lawyers' services. The three are not only indispensable, but also complement each other.

Mr. De Xiaohe: Today, Dehe has attracted more and more young lawyers, and many of them have been promoted to partner. What do you think are the main advantages of Dehohenton to attract young lawyers?
