Dehehantong, in collaboration with the School of Law of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Kaiyuan Law School) and the Shanghai Association of the Blind, jointly launched the first event of the "Light on the Legal Path" public welfare legal education series.
Recently, the first legal awareness lecture and legal consultation event of the "Legal Pathway of Light" series for visually impaired people, hosted by the School of Law of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Shanghai Association of the Blind, and organized by Dehehantong Law Offices, was successfully held. Lawyers from Dehehantong Shanghai Law Office, including Menghui Nie,Jun Hu,Chunyu Liu,Jinbo Ding,and Weipeng Lu, participated in the event as alumni of the School of Law. The event attracted dozens of visually impaired people from all over the city to actively participate, and the on-site response was enthusiastic.
During the event, Lawyer Weipeng Lu from Dehehanhong Shanghai Law Office served as the main speaker and delivered a special
lecture titled "Protecting Consumer Rights and Building an Accessible
Environment - Consumer Rights Protection for the Visually Impaired". He
systematically expounded on the connotation and boundaries of consumer
rights, the identification of common consumer traps, and diversified
paths for rights protection by interpreting the "Consumer Rights
Protection Law", combining it with the daily life scenarios of visually
impaired people, and integrating legal interpretation, case analysis,
and practical guidance. The lecture also focused on practical aspects
such as the protection of the rights and interests of the visually
impaired. The content was closely related to the actual needs of
visually impaired people, the language was vivid and easy to understand,
and the audience actively participated in the interaction, creating a
lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.
After the lecture, lawyers such as Menghui Nie,Jun Hu,Chunyu Liu,Jinbo Ding and Weipeng Lu provided one-on-one legal consultation services to visually impaired people on issues such as consumer disputes, sales contracts and property inheritance. The visually impaired people who consulted on the spot highly praised the lawyers' professional answers, which were practical and easy to understand, giving them more confidence in safeguarding their rights. This
"Path of Lawlight" public welfare lecture and legal consultation event
for the visually impaired is the first of its kind. Dehehantong will
join hands with the School of Law of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and
the Shanghai Association of the Blind to continue organizing subsequent
events in this series. Through more diverse forms of legal education, we
aim to further enhance the legal awareness and rights protection
capabilities of the visually impaired community. In the future, Dehehantong will adhere to the service philosophy of "Diligence,
Craftsmanship, and Perfection", deepen cooperation with all parties, and
continuously explore diversified forms of legal education to jointly
contribute to the construction of an accessible legal society.
