Call for Contributions | "Legal Communication and Cultural Governance in Megacities" Summit Forum and the 10th "Eastern Communication Law" Academic Forum
From the dissemination of online information to platform responsibilities; from protecting corporate reputation to copyright governance; from international dissemination to the new issues brought about by generative artificial intelligence - the rapid changes in communication technologies and methods are constantly presenting new legal problems.
In October 2026, the "Forum on 'Legal Communication and Cultural Governance in Megacities' and the 10th 'Eastern Communication Law' Academic Forum" of East China University of Political Science and Law will commence. Shanghai DHHT Law Firm has been a co-organizer of the 'Eastern Communication Law' academic forum for three consecutive years, and together with colleagues from the academic and practical fields, witnessed the ten-year growth of this academic event from its inception to deepening.
The 10th forum will focus on the theme of "Legal Communication and Cultural Governance in Megacities", and is divided into three parallel sections: the construction of autonomous knowledge systems for legal communication and talent cultivation, the construction of cultural soft power for international metropolises through legal services, and the solicitation and discussion of papers for the 10th 'Eastern Communication Law' academic forum. We sincerely invite scholars from home and abroad to actively submit papers on related topics, jointly promoting theoretical research and practical exploration in the field of communication law, and contributing wisdom and strength to the governance of megacities under the background of Chinese-style modernization.

II. Submission Details
1. We plan to accept 25-30 papers, only original papers are accepted, and invited external reviewers will select and publish the best papers;
2. Word count: between 10,000 and 15,000 words; abstract: within 300 words; keywords: 3-5;
3. Please refer to the format requirements of "Journal of Journalism and Communication Studies" when submitting your papers. Please indicate your name, work unit, title, email, and contact number at the end of the paper;

4. This forum does not charge conference fees. The organizers will provide working meals during the forum, and accommodation and transportation expenses are at your own expense;
