• He represented a defendant in a major cross-border illegal gambling case in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, involving RMB 35 billion. The case was covered by CCTV and its program Legal Report. At the appellate stage, the court rejected the procuratorate’s protest and upheld the outcome favorable to the client.

• He represented a private entrepreneur in a major organized-crime case in Liaoyang, Liaoning Province. At first instance, the alleged organized-crime characterization was removed from the entire case, and several charges were dismissed.
