Since commencing legal practice in 2009, Mr. Su has focused on intellectual property dispute resolution and intellectual property legal services for businesses and has handled more than 1,000 intellectual property matters. His practice covers trademarks, patents, copyright, unfair competition, and criminal defense in intellectual property-related cases. He has experience representing both rights holders in enforcement actions and companies defending against infringement claims. He has also provided intellectual property legal services to a number of listed companies and well-known enterprises.

Mr. Su has a science and engineering background and is qualified as both a PRC lawyer and a patent agent. He integrates legal analysis, technical comparison, and evidence organization in his work and approaches intellectual property disputes from both legal and technical perspectives. Matters he has handled involving Yingjia Distillery, DSM, “Six Walnuts,” and “Yonghe Soy Milk” have been selected as typical intellectual property cases published by the Anhui High People’s Court, Hefei Intermediate People’s Court, and Hefei High-tech Industrial Development Zone People’s Court.

• Represented plaintiff Anhui Yingjia Distillery Co., Ltd. in a trademark infringement and unfair competition dispute against Huawan Liquor Co., Ltd.
  [Outcome] The court ordered the defendant to cease infringement and pay damages. The case was selected as one of the 2025 Typical Intellectual Property Cases for Safeguarding Fair Market Competition published by the Anhui High People’s Court.

• Represented plaintiff DSM IP Assets B.V. in an invention patent infringement dispute against an Anhui-based vitamin company.
  [Outcome] The court ordered the defendant to cease infringement and pay damages. The case was selected as one of the 2020 Top Ten Typical Intellectual Property Cases published by Hefei Intermediate People’s Court.

• Represented plaintiff Shanghai Hongqi Yonghe Catering Management Co., Ltd. in a series of trademark infringement and unfair competition enforcement matters involving the “Yonghe Soy Milk” brand.
  [Outcome] Through judgments and mediation, the relevant infringers ceased infringement and paid damages. The series was selected as one of the 2017 Top Ten Intellectual Property Cases published by the Hefei High-tech Industrial Development Zone People’s Court.

• Represented plaintiff Hebei Yangyuan Zhihui Beverage Co., Ltd. in a series of trademark infringement and unfair competition enforcement matters involving the “Six Walnuts” brand.
  [Outcome] Through judgments and mediation, the relevant infringers ceased infringement and paid damages. The series was selected as one of the 2016 Top Ten Typical Cases of Judicial Protection of Intellectual Property published by Hefei Intermediate People’s Court.

• Represented plaintiff Jiangxi Jiangzhong Shiliao Technology Co., Ltd. in a series of trademark infringement and unfair competition enforcement matters involving the “Hougu” brand.
  [Outcome] Through judgments and mediation, the defendants ceased infringement and paid damages. Related matters were reported by China National Radio.

• Represented defendant Anhui Yingjia Water World Tourism Development Co., Ltd. in defending a copyright infringement and unfair competition dispute brought by a Shanghai-based water engineering construction company.
  [Outcome] The court dismissed all of the plaintiff’s claims for cessation of infringement and RMB 2.04 million in damages.

• Represented defendant Quanzhou Zhuojing Trading Co., Ltd. in defending a design patent infringement dispute brought by a trading company.
  [Outcome] The court dismissed the plaintiff’s claim for RMB 800,000 in damages.

• Acted as defense counsel for Mr. Lu in a case involving the crime of counterfeiting registered trademarks.
  [Outcome] The illegal business turnover exceeded RMB 1.67 million, and the court imposed a three-year term of imprisonment, suspended for three years and six months.

• Represented plaintiff, a Zhejiang-based information technology company, in a series of computer software copyright enforcement matters involving a “Mall” system.
  [Outcome] Through court judgments, court-mediated settlements, and out-of-court settlements, dozens of infringers ceased infringement and paid damages.

• Provided a Patent Infringement Legal Opinion and a Patent Validity Analysis Report for a Hefei-based new materials company.
  [Outcome] Assisted the company in passing its client’s patent compliance review and facilitating a project collaboration with a contract value of several million RMB.
