The"Sino-US Dispute Resolution Litigation and Arbitration"seminar was successfully held in Dehehantong

On January 19, 2024, the "China-US Dispute Resolution Litigation and Arbitration" seminar was successfully held in Shanghai Dehehantong Law Offices. The seminar was organized by Shanghai University ADR and Arbitration Institute, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Shanghai Branch, and organized by Shanghai Huanzhong Law Offices and Shanghai Dehehantong Law Offices. Mr. Jiang Chun, founding partner of Dehehantong, and Mr. He Xiujuan, Director of Dehehantong Shanghai Supervisory Committee were invited to attend the meeting.

Professor Wenxue Guo, Dean of ADR and Arbitration Institute of Shanghai University, delivered the opening speech. Professor Shen Sibao, Honorary Dean of ADR and Arbitration Institute of Shanghai University, and Jia Shen, Secretary General of China International Trade Arbitration Commission (CIAC) Shanghai Branch respectively delivered warm opening speeches to congratulate the opening of this conference. In two roundtable discussions, 50 experts, scholars and practitioners from China and the United States had in-depth discussions on two topics: "Some legal issues in dispute litigation resolution between China and the United States" and "Differences and integration of arbitration between China and the United States", and shared their experiences and insights in research and practice. At the end of the seminar, Lawyer Ye Sheng, senior partner of Shanghai Huanzhong Law Offices, presided over the closing speech, and Professor Li Fengzhang, dean of Shanghai University Law School, delivered the closing speech and announced the successful conclusion of the conference.
