Dehehantong lawyers volunteer to provide foreign-related legal services - safeguarding the 8th China International Import Expo

The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE for short) will be held in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th, 2025. This year's China International Import Expo is grand in scale, with 155 countries, regions and international organizations participating, and 4,108 overseas enterprises exhibiting. The exhibition area exceeds 430,000 square meters, setting new historical records for both the exhibition area and the total number of enterprises. The Social Work Department of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Shanghai Volunteer Association have recruited and selected 168 professional volunteers from industries such as law, who possess specialized skills and foreign language proficiency. Lawyers Sun Hong, Li Yuancao and Wang Liwen, partners of the Shanghai office of Dehehantong, as well as lawyers Jiang Yichen and Wang Jielan from the Shanghai office, served as professional volunteers throughout the foreign-related legal services.

Lawyer Li Yuancao, a partner of the Shanghai office of Dehehantong, served as a volunteer for the foreign-related legal consultation and agricultural and food products exhibition area in Hall 8.2. He provided services such as reception and exhibition hall explanation, foreign-related legal consultation and business environment introduction for visiting VIPs, merchants and suppliers in the exhibition area respectively. Lawyer Li Yuancao, drawing on his legal expertise, tailored his services to the actual needs of exhibitors.
