"DeheTalk" is an important part of the 20th anniversary series of activities of DHHT Law Firm. It aims to conduct in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge theories and practical issues through special topic sharing and lawyer discussions.
On July 13, 2026, the ninth episode of the "Dehe Talk" series of the 20th anniversary activities of DHHT Law Firm - "Empowering Arbitration Selection, Deepening Evidence Compliance - Detailed Explanation of Arbitrator Selection Qualifications and Live Training on Instant Evidence Fixation in All Scenarios" was successfully held. This event was hosted by the Shanghai Commercial Dispute Resolution Business Committee of DHHT Law Firm. The discussion focused on the selection of arbitrators and the fixation of electronic evidence, aiming to promote the sharing of experience and professional collaboration, and enhance the practical ability in commercial dispute resolution. The event was chaired by Lawyer Ji Kang, the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Commercial Dispute Resolution Business Committee of DHHT Law Firm.
01. Grasp the trend of arbitrator selection and clarify the professional development direction
Chi Junhui, the director of the Shanghai Commercial Dispute Resolution Professional Committee of DHHT Law Firm, delivered a presentation titled "Trends in Arbitrator Qualifications and Selection under the New Arbitration Law". He shared practical experience to introduce the requirements for arbitrator qualifications, selection trends, and professional capabilities. He also provided suggestions for lawyers on accumulating arbitration experience and developing professional advantages. This presentation was helpful for the participants to grasp the key issues in arbitrator selection and provided references for clarifying the development direction of arbitration business and strengthening professional capacity building.
02. Standardize the collection of electronic evidence and improve the evidence management process
Han Li, the director of the Training Center of the Joint Trustworthy Timestamp Center, conducted practical training on the solidification of electronic evidence. By combining case studies and on-site demonstrations, she introduced the technical principles, applicable scenarios, and operational requirements of trusted timestamps. She also explained key points such as the selection of tools for different types of evidence and the retention during the evidence collection process. This training deepened the participants' understanding of the rules for fixing electronic evidence and provided practical references for evidence collection and management in intellectual property protection, internet infringement, and enterprise risk prevention.
At the end of the event, Gao Chang, the co-chair of the Shanghai Commercial Dispute Resolution Professional Committee of DHHT Law Firm, delivered a concluding speech, expressing gratitude to the two guests for their professional sharing and to the participants for their active participation.
