Regarding "Dehe Talk"

"DeheTalk" is an important part of the 20th anniversary series of activities of DHHT Law Firm. It aims to conduct in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge theories and practical issues through special topic sharing and lawyer discussions.

On July 29, 2026, the 20th anniversary series event of DHHT Law Firm, "DeheTalk" No. 10 - "Promoting Resolution Through Negotiation and Solving Family Disputes Skillfully" was successfully held. This event was organized by the Shanghai Family Affairs and Family Wealth Management Business Committee of DHHT Law Firm. The discussion focused on negotiation strategies, mediation paths, and the application of procedures in family disputes, aiming to deepen the understanding of the diversified resolution mechanism for family disputes and provide practical references for the proper handling of complex family disputes. The event was chaired by Lawyer Hu Jun, the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Family Affairs and Family Wealth Management Business Committee of DHHT Law Firm.

In the theme sharing session, Zeng Yue, the director of the Family Affairs and Family Wealth Management Business Committee of DHHT Law Firm in Shanghai and a senior partner of the Shanghai office, gave a special presentation titled "Promoting Resolution Through Mediation and Solving Family Disputes Creatively". She began her presentation by identifying the true demands, calculating the comprehensive costs in advance, and formulating plans based on each case. She then used 21-day divorce mediation, disputes among relatives in high-net-worth families, and disputes over betrothal gifts as examples to elaborate on practical approaches such as continuous communication, multiple rounds of mediation, and the legal use of jurisdictional objections. She pointed out that family disputes involve both property, identity, and emotional attributes. Lawyers should coordinate risk prediction, plan design, communication negotiation, and procedural application. While legally safeguarding the personal and property rights of the parties involved, they should also take into account family relationships and emotional factors to form a comprehensive solution tailored to the individual case needs.

This event systematically explored the ideas and methods for resolving family disputes through various dimensions such as case handling methods, mediation practices, procedural application, and service concepts. It broadened the practical perspective of lawyers in handling complex family disputes and provided professional references for meeting the comprehensive needs of clients in terms of personal, property, and family relationships.
