The 14th session of Dehe TALK was held, analyzing legal risks and compliance paths in AI applications

On October 23, 2026, the 14th session of "Dehe Talk", one of the 20th anniversary series of activities of Dehehantong, was held - a research and learning sharing event on AI and data with the theme of "Intelligent Data Protection and Legal Future Enlightenment". This event is organized by the Shanghai Data Compliance and Cybersecurity Business Committee of Dehehantong and is aimed at outstanding MBA students of the class of 2026 from Shanghai University of Sport. It focuses on the legal risks in the development of artificial intelligence and corporate compliance practices, with the goal of helping students understand the legal boundaries and compliance requirements of AI technology applications from the perspective of business operations.

At the beginning of the event, the trainees, led by the staff, visited the law firm to learn about the working environment and professional practices of lawyers. Lawyer Li Shengnan, the director of the Shanghai Data Compliance and Cybersecurity Business Committee of Dehehantong, was the keynote speaker. Lawyer Li Shengnan, with the topic of AI and data compliance legal practice, combined industry development trends and typical cases to sort out the legal issues that AI enterprises and AI content creators need to pay attention to in aspects such as data collection and use, personal information protection, intellectual property rights, algorithm and large model filing, etc. She also started from practical scenarios such as cyber security, the use of overseas models, data export, and the identification of AI-generated synthetic content, analyzed the compliance risks that enterprises might face, and put forward suggestions on data source review, authorization management, minimum permission and data isolation, traceability of the creation process, and improvement of user agreements. It provides professional references for trainees to understand risk identification and compliance management in the application of AI technology.
